Real Raspberry & Cardamom Infused Sir Robin of Locksley Gin is our take on a ‘pink’ gin, made with 100% real fruit ingredients and an aromatic finish.
Historically, ‘pink gin’ was a cocktail fashionable in the mid-19th century that blended dry gins with a dash of Angostura bitters. We wanted to make a response to the increasing number of ‘pink gins’ on the market (read: gins that are dyed pink…) by going back to the traditional flavour profile of that classic cocktail. Making the most of quality, real fruit ingredients, this pink raspberry craft gin made in our Sheffield distillery is an honest and vibrant spirit.
Our Real Raspberry & Cardamom gin starts its life as our flagship Sir Robin of Locksley. We infuse it with around 30 raspberries per bottle, giving it a wonderful depth of flavour and colour. Finally, we add a separate distillate of cardamom to give it more dimension and complexity. It’s a full strength infused gin with a fruity finish, tart raspberry punch, and rich cardamom aroma.
Real Raspberry & Cardamom is fab as a gin and tonic with classic tonic water. But as we always suggest, play around to find your own perfect pour:
Blend with Indian tonic water, soda, or lemonade.
Try it in a negroni to add a complex and bold flavour.
Mix into a fruity or sour cocktail.
Because we only use real fruit, over time the colour does drop out – this is a gin that’s meant to be enjoyed fresh!
