Description
The gnarly old bush vines that bear the precious fruit that go to make this delicious wine were planted up to 100 years ago in the mountain vineyards of Atea. Struggling to survive in dusty, dry slate soils at an altitude of 1000 metres they have the ability to produce this amazing wine.
Garnacha has been the mainstay of wine production in the mountainous14. region for hundreds of years. The grapes for this richly flavoured wine were hand-harvested from bush-trained vines, many of which are about a 100-years-old, grown in vineyards up to 800 metres above sea level. Shows ripe blueberry, blackberry and cherry fruit, backed by a refreshing juicy finish.
