Description
Based in Speyside Ballindalloch was founded in 2014 on the estate of the same name. Home to the Macpherson-Grant clan since 1546. Ballindalloch is Speyside's first true 'estate distillery'.
This 2015 Vintage is part of a UK exclusive release and serves as the first 'core' product from Ballindalloch Distillery. Limited to just 3,600 bottles and exclusively for the UK market. It has been created from 80% ex-bourbon casks and 20% ex-sherry casks, all matured for at least 8 years
No Chill filtration and natural colour.
Nose – Lemon zest, honey, a subtle bready note then sherbert and shortbread biscuits.
Palate – Sweet, soft oily texture with barley sugar then some spice and caramel.
Finish – A long elegant finish with fondant icing, sultanas and apples.
