Plantation El Salvador 2015 Rum

Description

Plantation Rum's Single Cask programme returns in 2023, serving up one of kind expressions. Each Single Cask rum has its own vivid personality and benefits from the brands signature double aging technique.

Introducing Plantation's Elsalvador rum, a column still rum from Ingenio La Cabana Distillery, that is tropically aged for 5 years in ex bourbon casks. The rum is then transported by sea in its barrel over to Cognac, where is it aged for 2 years in a Ferrand Cognac Cask, then further matured for 1 year in a red Pineau des Charentes cask.

Tasting notes:

Intense and complex on cappuccino, hazelnut, lemongrass, strawberry and tonka bean. Delicate and sweet on dulce de lecce, pistachio, dark chocolate, prune, tropical fruit, raspberry and pepper.
