Description
This lowland peated single malt from Bladnoch distillery, Alinta takes its name from an indigenous Australian word, found in several native Southeast Australian languages, that means 'fire' and 'flames'. Matured in a combination of ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry and ex-bourbon casks, Alinta finds a great balance between aromas of sweet oak spice, heather and vanilla-tinged smoke on the nose and rich campfire smoke, toasted almonds, raisins, white chocolate and burning heather throughout the palate.
