Description
As the first white wine grape our grandfather planted back
in 1968, we are proud to continue to grow, handcraft and
share our “heritage” Chenin Blanc. Perfectly suited to
Clarksburg’s soils, growing season and climate, this wine is
a wonderful example of the place we have called home for
six generations.
Swirling in your glass, the golden hue catches your
attention before you even take a sip. This Clarksburg
Chenin Blanc showcases a vibrant interplay of Asian Pear
and Golden Delicious apple. The entry is crisp, followed by
a satisfyingly viscous mid-palate and a lingering finish. This
refreshing composition is further complemented by subtle
notes of spicy Stargazer Lily and fresh honey, adding
depth to its overall complexity.
This classic Clarksburg Chenin Blanc shows a food friendly
vibrancy while finishing with the slightest hint of sweetness.
Some favorites to pair with are creamy sweet potato soup
and honey glazed salmon.
