A mighty cigar with a surprisingly subtle and creamy flavour. It rocketed to stardom when the second issue of Cigar Aficionado rated a late 1980s example 99 out of 100. Still a cigar to be reckoned with and a must have in any cigar collection. One of the best prominentes ever made, as many of the formats from Hoyo de Monterrey convincing with aroma and taste. New Habanos can be said to have learnt from this stick, spongier than Lusitanas and Double Coronas from Punch, it looks even bigger when you have one of them in your hand. A truly impressive cigar.
