Description
We are pleased to present Batch 9 of Kilkerran's Heavily Peated single malt. Always in high demand, this is a small batch bottling drawn from a mix of 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks. It has been bottled at 59.2% and Kilkerran does not chill filter or add colour to their whisky. A perfect introduction to Campbeltown's smokier side.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – Notes of freshly baked shortbread, creamsoda, banana loaf and coconut shavingsintroduce this heavily peated dram.
Palate – The creamy, vanilla notes carry through tothe palate in notes of buttered digestivebiscuits and custard creams.
Finish – The peat is prominent in the finish, alongwith hints of gooseberries to round out this dram.
