Another vitola that Montecristo shares with Cohiba. Slender ring gauges may not be in vogue these days, but 38 is sufficient to house the full Montecristo blend in a dapper shape. The Montecristo Especial No.2 cigar is an unorthodox creation of the Cuban brand. The corona features a pigtail cap and is full of strong tobacco with flavours of asian spices and precious wood. For this reason , the cigar goes amazingly with the sweet and sour cooking of pacific island cuisine. It also compliments white wines from the new world that are fruity and floral in taste.
