Introducing the Romeo y Julieta Cupidos, a special production Habano reserved for exclusive distribution through Havana Cigar Specialist networks and La Casa del Habano franchises worldwide. The size known as a Verona in the factories of Cuba is an entirely new vitola within the Habanos portfolio with the factory name a nod to the location of Shakespeare’s play about two star-crossed lovers. Presented in stylish lacquered boxes, the cigars are long-filler handmade using tobacco harvested from Vuelta Abajo in the Pinar Del Rio region of Cuba. They are blended to match the subtle, rounded, medium bodied aromas that has made Romeo y Julieta one of the world’s most accessible and loved cigar brands.
Romeo y Julieta have one of the largest range of sizes in the entire Habanos collection. The brand started in the early 1870s and takes its name from Shakespeare’s classics. In all of Havanas rolling galleries, the Lectors would read from Newspapers and classic stories while the rollers made the cigars.
These medium bodied cigars are enjoyed by Novices and experienced smokers alike. The thick and creamy texture is complimented with a subtle sweetness along with the distinct woody flavours found in many Habanos cigars.
